A Mom Creating Miracles for her Kids!

If you talk to Gerri Williams, she will give credit to the grace of God for how well her kids are doing. But if God works through us, Gerri is an angel! She didn’t accept the diagnosis for either of her children and just kept searching for answers. The fact they are doing as well as they are is a testament to a mom who asks for help and gets it, does research and finds the answers! Enjoy a piece of her story!

Gerri is letting me share her story on my blog so stay tuned. You will love her and her family and her hope for a healthier future, as I do!

    Roxy,
I wanted to give everyone an update! The kids had their follow up with their pediatric GI (digestive disorders). Both kids have gained more weight and are considered in the 25th percentile on the growth chart. Amazing since both were at one time failure-to-thrive and needing a tube feeding! Austin remains seizure free and eosiniphilic esophagitis in remission. Sydney’s remains free of immunodeficiency IV therapy. Her asthma meds continue to be 100% decreased and has not had any hospitalizations since hyperbaric treatment started. Austin has not had any hospitalizations either since HBOT. Very blessed! They are both doing wonderful on their TLP program. Currently on TLP album 4 modules 1-4 this week. Seeing some nice results. Austin’s language and humor just keeps getting better. And, he speaks in much more complex sentences. Sydney’s anxiety and sensory issues with new bathrooms has declined as well. I am letting them lead me in what they need and they are doing fabulous! I am so glad we have become such good friends. You are amazing mom that reaches out to others from your own experiences! Love it!!! Talk to you soon!

    Hello everyone,
Well, both kids just completed The Listening Program Album 5 this week. Sydney hummed and played with her toys while listening. She has gained an additional 2 levels in reading! Whoo Hoo. Her anxiety was up just a little when we first started album 5 but a little extra sensory integration album took care of that! And, Austin is just soaring more and more in spelling out his words, remembering information for tests, more outgoing. We just came back from a varsity basketball tournament. I thought for sure he would hold his ears through most of the whistle blowing and buzzer sounding off! In the beginning of the game, he lightly plugged his ears the first two times the buzzer went off. After that, not at all for the remainder of the 2,3,and 4th quarters. He also used the mens bathroom independently with many other men and boys all around without incident. This is a first folks!!!! Huge Huge for him. He insisted he knew where the boys bathroom was and needed to go now not wait until we got home. Before he would not even attempt a new bathroom, let alone with several other guys coming in and out!!!! At first, he looked at me a with hesitation before walking in and asked if I could go. I told him that I could not bc I am a lady and can only use the ladies restroom. He was ok and went on in. I was sooo nervous that I asked a gentleman coming out of the restroom if he could see a young boy with a blue coat on using the restroom and is he ok. The man replied, “Sure, he is on his way out.” I almost cried. Well, I did later when he was not around. I bragged and bragged to him about how grown up that was for him to do! My children are much more difficult to raise and keep healthy than most but it is all good! They have inspired me in so many ways! Iam blessed!!
