Blue Water

What a fabulous article to read first thing this morning! My Facebook friend, Callan Pierce sent this article to me, as she felt I would like it! Totally true and a testament to how our social media friends can know us better than many people we bump into in the course of a day. I don’t know how Callan and I connected on FB, as it’s been some time ago, but we do ‘get’ each other from 1700 miles away! Anyhoo, back to water…

A peaceful spot on the Ogden River. Certainly not in spring, when it is full and crashing trees and boulders down it's banks!

Before I lived right on Monterrey Bay, I lived right on the Ogden River which I loved! I loved hearing and feeling the movement of the surf or the flow of the river so powerful and swift. I also love the gentle rocking of the water while stand up paddle boarding in the Santa Cruz Harbor.

Any kind of time spent in water is a break from the stress of the day… hot tub, bathtub, shower, pool… being in or near water is very healing and calming to me. What about you?

And, I know you have heard me say, ‘Go drink a glass of water!’ It’s my first go to when there is any kind of stress involved! Clean, pure, healthy water, in your body and around it… mmm… Peaceful, just thinking about it!

Of course, now, I live minutes from the Great Salt Lake!
